Hi! My name is Carlos and I’m a Chemical Engineering graduate from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, and currently work as a Research & Development Engineer for a chemical company. I also hold a position as a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Chemistry at Texas A&M.
I’ve always loved math and science, and that passion led me to pursue a career in engineering. I discovered my love for chemistry in high school when I took AP Chemistry, and later earned A’s in General Chemistry I and II in college. I also excelled in Algebra 1 and 2 in high school and continued building on those skills through college-level algebra and higher math courses.
I’m a native Spanish speaker and completed part of my education in Mexico, where I developed a strong academic foundation. In high school, I also excelled in AP Spanish 1, 2, and 3.
Tutoring is something I truly enjoy — I regularly help my younger cousins and friends with math and chemistry, and I’m known for being patient, encouraging, and clear in my explanations. Whether you’re struggling with equations, chemical reactions, or Spanish grammar, I’m here to help you feel confident and succeed.
