Through my liberal arts and natural science courses, I honed my ability to analyze various types of texts, organize ideas effectively, and communicate them clearly. I also earned excellent grades in Rhetoric & Composition and American Literature at The University of Texas at Austin. Most importantly, I can help you better grasp and implement sound writing techniques in your own writing, whether for a course or admissions application.

The ACT English section will test your ability to identify usage and mechanics errors (like punctuation, subject-verb agreement, and fragments) as well as challenge you to select effective writing strategies. The ACT Math section will test your problem-solving ability in topics like algebra, coordinate geometry, and trigonometry. I've helped many students better understand how to solve problems for each topic and improve their scores, and I can help you do the same.

The ACT Reading section will test your ability to comprehend challenging passages and quickly answer several different types of questions (like "big-picture", "little-picture", and "inference" questions). The ACT Science section will test your ability to analyze three different types of passages (data representation, research summaries, and conflicting viewpoints). I have helped many students analyze these types of passages more effectively and improve their scores, and I can help you do the same.

The PSAT will challenge you with abstract mathematical reasoning and advanced reading material. Plus, College Board structures the questions in complex ways. I have helped many students better understand the content and structure of the exam, thereby improving their scores. And, I can help you do the same, focusing your efforts effectively to maximize your score potential.
SAT Math,

SAT Math

The mathematics section of the SAT will challenge you to apply abstract mathematical reasoning in four different content areas: Heart of Algebra, Passport to Advanced Math, Problem Solving and Data Analysis, and Additional Topics. I've helped many students better understand the mathematics involved in these areas as well as translate the complex wording into simple terms. Additionally, I can show you how to apply effective test-taking strategies to improve your score.

The reading section of the SAT will challenge you to comprehend and interpret complex reading material. You'll need to read through each passage and answer several different question types (like "big picture", "evidence-support", and "author's perspective"), all in a timely fashion.
