I'm Lynda! I graduated summa cum laude with a Master's degree in Business Administration. I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. I have always loved Mathematics, and it came very easy for me to learn. I saw many of my classmates and friends in high school and college struggling in Math. I offered to tutor them for free. All of them said that I had a way of teaching them where they actually understood and finally grasped the concepts that they were learning.

I have over two years of experience tutoring high school and college students in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry and Trigonometry. I worked with the students one-on-one. My tutoring philosophies are first and foremost, understanding that each student is unique and has his or her own way of learning. I also believe in positive reinforcement to help boost a student’s confidence and motivation. I encourage my students to voice their needs so that we can collaborate together. I set clear expectations and specific educational goals with my students and consistently monitor their progress.

My favorite part about tutoring is witnessing the moment when the "light bulb" finally goes on and my students comprehend what they have learned. I want to benefit the students I work with as much as possible. Therefore, I welcome any feedback or resources the students or parents may provide. I believe that it is a team effort with myself in collaboration with the students and their parents that will ensure that the students are set up for success!
