Hello, all! My name is Coleman C., I am a 23-year-old college graduate who dedicated their time while at University to the study of English Literature and Creative Writing. I graduated Magna Cum Laude (meaning I had good grades) and served as Editor for our school's Literary Journal. This next fall, I will start the Graduate Program of Comparative Literature at the University of Tennessee. Obviously, I have a great love for the written arts and would love to share my passions with anyone who is looking for help. I have spent the past two years working as a private tutor in Knoxville, and working as a Reading Advisor for the Morristown-Hamblen Library. And, while I am specialized in creative writing and poetry, I have deep knowledge of writing styles, writing tutoring, and reading comprehension. Yet, to share and teach and demonstrate why English matters have been an incredible source of pleasure; seeing students engage and learn to love literature and the expressiveness of writing is why I tutor. Furthermore, I am trained in Philosophy and Rhetoric, and use both as a means to achieve a clear, communicative, and deep writing style.

On top of English, Philosophy, and Literature, I love to run, skateboard, and watch sports. My grandfather coached football at Carson-Newman for thirty-odd years, so I have football in my blood; I love to assimilate football and writing, seeing as both have great things in common. I attend Providence Church hear in Knoxville and can be found enjoying the parks, mountains, or local food. I have a great respect for libraries and love to meet and use their resources with my tutees.

I spent the last two years of my Undergraduate tenure tutoring privately, helping two students go from C's to A's in their English courses. Furthermore, I served as Reading Advisor for the Morristown-Hamblen Library, interacting and instructing adults and students alike in the happenings and histories of literature. At Carson-Newman, I served as Editor for our Literary Journal--gaining valuable skills in preci
