I have taught in public, private, and even deaf schools, teaching everything from middle school English to AP English and everything in between.

Now, after several years on Wyzant, I have been privileged to help students with anything in the English realm, especially focusing on SAT/ACT prep and AP Lang or Lit. Through the strategies I have developed over the years, students have seen a drastic improvement in their scores - I am certain I can do the same for you too!

My love for food started as I worked in the restaurant business when I was 16, working in classic American cuisine restaurants and moving up to fine dining cafes and bistros. My oldest sister is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and I was able to glean a lot of second-hand wisdom from her, which has allowed me to make incredible dishes for my kids at home. I specialize in quick, restaurant-style meals, as well as southern smoked foods, such as pulled pork, ribs, brisket, chicken, pork belly, or anything else southern. If you want to save money, make amazing meals at home, and possibly have picky children and want to expand their palates and horizons, I'm your person!

My expertise is specifically in Biblical, Koine Greek of the New Testament. I have taken four semesters of Greek and can teach students not only how to read the language but also how to write it. I can teach the language to beginners or to those in the more advanced stages.
Hebrew

My expertise is specifically in Biblical Hebrew, not modern, conversational Hebrew. I have studied Hebrew at the Master's level, taking Hebrew 1, Hebrew 2, and being part of a group who helped our seminary create a Hebrew 3 class, which was specifically geared toward audibly reading large passages of Hebrew Scripture and interpreting on the spot. Lastly, I have studied this wonderful language at a Reform Synagogue, an experience that is one of the greatest of my life.

I have been a public speaker for over 15 years, speaking to crowds as small as 10 and as large as 2,000+. I have taught public speaking to middle and high school students as well as college level students and even adults. Frank help to raise my son's score from 650 to 750 after about 8 or so lessons. He leverages exam techniques, including how to eliminate easy choices, how to see patterns in the questions, what to look for in the passages, what to focus on to specifically increase the score, and specific tips on studying for the exam.
