I graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina, where I earned a degree in Psychology with a minor in Counseling Education. I am currently a preschool teacher, supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development during their early learning years.
During my time in college, I spent several summers tutoring high school students in ACT preparation, helping them strengthen their skills in key subject areas, improve test-taking strategies, and build confidence going into the exam. In addition to ACT prep, I worked with student-athletes throughout the academic year, tutoring them in math, english, biology, psychology, and neuroscience courses.
My tutoring experience began in high school, where I worked with elementary and middle school students in math, science, and Latin, giving me a strong foundation in supporting learners across multiple age groups.
I am passionate about helping students discover confidence in their own abilities. I believe every student learns differently, and my background in psychology has taught me a variety of instructional strategies to meet individual learning styles. I enjoy trying different approaches and creating customized learning plans so each student can thrive academically and feel empowered in their learning.
