Very patient, knowledgeable
Sara literally plucked me from the throes of organic chemistry, a course being taken on a severely difficult online program. First of all, she was very responsive, willing to help me out with a problem within a few minutes notice when I first contacted her. Secondly but most importantly, she really knows her beans, orgo is on her finger tips, and she has a very fantastic and fun way of giving over the material, that is ANY orgo material, sometimes using great analogies. Additionally, she can dumb down a complex concept in a very short manner. You will not find a more patient tutor, willing to repeat her senetences multiple times until you will fully grasp the concept. Btw, a great way to see if a tutor is really good, don't just trust a 5 star review, everyone has them, but rather look how many lessons were taken by a 5 star reviewer. The only reason I am stopping is because thank god I am done with orgo. You need help with orgo? Don't say I didn't tell you. Don't look anywhere else. :)

Sarah helps a lot by going over lots of questions in her question bank. She has exactly the material you need tailored to what you want help with. She is good at giving consistent reminders if you forget parts of the method (for spectroscopy specifically as well) and for assisting with mastery of content. She is incredible and patient and is always ready to step in when needed to drill in concepts.

Patient and Knowledgeable Tutor
Sarah helped me with an Organic Chemistry 2 class and was able to help me understand the material in depth. My professor required very specific answers and expected us to come up with our own multistep synthesis. Not only was Sarah able to accommodate what my class required, but was able to make sure that I was able to excel when I was working on problems by myself. A lot of times, she was explaining topics, but there was also dedicated time for me to practice and have live feedback on where I was going wrong. I also really appreciate how Sarah briefed me on what I can improve and give me tips on how to be successful outside of tutoring. For some problems, she asked me to pretend like I was the tutor, which really helped me internalize the logic behind each problem and understand how I can apply it to other problems. With her help, I was able to get a really good grade in the class, which I thought would be impossible before I started tutoring!
