Sarah is very patient as she is willing to go over a problem as many times as you need so you fully understand what is happening. She is especially helpful to me as someone who doesn't have a strong chemistry background. She provides simple, humorous scenarios that actually stick and help you solve organic chemistry problems.

Sarah helped me with an Organic Chemistry 2 class and was able to help me understand the material in depth. My professor required very specific answers and expected us to come up with our own multistep synthesis. Not only was Sarah able to accommodate what my class required, but was able to make sure that I was able to excel when I was working on problems by myself. A lot of times, she was explaining topics, but there was also dedicated time for me to practice and have live feedback on where I was going wrong. I also really appreciate how Sarah briefed me on what I can improve and give me tips on how to be successful outside of tutoring. For some problems, she asked me to pretend like I was the tutor, which really helped me internalize the logic behind each problem and understand how I can apply it to other problems. With her help, I was able to get a really good grade in the class, which I thought would be impossible before I started tutoring!
