Hello! I am a 28-year-old High School English Teacher, Football Coach, and Ministry Leader. I was born and raised in the Carolinas and am currently raising a family of my own in the same location. I am passionate about the things that I love and am extremely motivated to share and teach those passions to others.

I received an undergrad degree from North Greenville University in Interdisciplinary Studies: Business Administration and Mass Communication. I then went on to receive a Master of Arts Degree from Anderson University in Christian Ministry Leadership. I am also finishing up my American Board Teaching Certificate in Secondary English.

I have several years of teaching experience with middle and high school students. I have spent the last 8 years coaching football and baseball to 12-18-year-olds. Coaching the teams as well as private lessons. I was a full-time student pastor for 4 years where I preached to a large group of student's 6th-12th grade weekly, as well as writing and leading all of their small group information. I also spent the majority of that time doing 1 on 1 counseling. The last year I spent at a middle school as the full-time disciplinary lead, substitute taught for over 100 days, and ended as the Digital Design Teacher. Starting this fall, I will be a High School English Teacher at Richland Northeast High School.

My approach to tutoring is to build relationships with my students, find out their goals, and then build a plan for them around where they want to go. We will spend each session reviewing our past lesson, as well as get follow-ups with the work they have done since we last talked. I will answer any questions and then move forward with the new information. Our sessions will be fully based around the student and what it is they are looking for. I will be flexible and challenging to help grow my students as far as they want to go.
