I have a wide variety of different teaching experiences to draw on. I have over 100 hours on this site tutoring all sorts of programming and math to everyone from high school students to professionals. For years I've volunteered my time on an online homework help chatroom, helping over 800 people with all sorts of academic and test prep questions. I was a course assistant for my university's introductory computer science course, and I taught my own lab section of biostatistics. There's nothing more enjoyable than seeing something click or giving someone the tools to solve problems the easy way.

I've been programming since I was in elementary school! High school, studying at Northeastern University, multiple internships in software, and my current work at the University of South Carolina's CS department inform my knowledge of how to help people get better at programming. I use my years of experience and years of teaching experience to tell you why and how, not just what. I'm best in Python and Rust and a reasonable R and Java coder.

I am currently pursuing a PhD in computer science, and in addition to my coursework in algorithms, AI, object-oriented design, and databases I have contributed to dozens of open-source projects and spent years programming in a professional capacity.

In addition to my undergraduate coursework in databases, statistics, AI, machine learning, and programming, I have years of experience doing data science professionally in various domains including healthcare, academic research, and drug development. I currently research AI for materials science as part of my PhD program.

As part of my graduate research I use my group theory knowledge, and in my work applying machine learning/AI to problems in science I have lots of practice applying these concepts in the real world.

I've been coding in Python for as long as I can remember, and I've used it at multiple different jobs and research positions. I'm proficient in using Python for statistics, plots, software development, AI, and machine learning.

SAT Math

I have an 800 on the SAT Math and a perfect 170 on the GRE, so I know the test inside and out. As a data science major currently researching AI in graduate school, I have a deep understanding of math that has let me help hundreds of students with math questions, including the SAT.
