Dina is HANDS DOWN the best tutor on this site. She is worth much more than what she charges and if you have a high school AP chem student - you MUST choose her and she should be charging more (particularly since there are others on the site charging more). She is not only incredibly knowledgeable about the AP chemistry curriculum but she is caring, dedicated, tireless, and reliable. My daughter worked with Dina for a little over half a year because her AP Chemistry teacher taught using a worksheet and lab system, (investigative) rather than instruction and then was not supportive of students who needed extra help. When my daughter asked her own teacher for tutoring, she sent her to the "peer tutor" and we tried that in the middle of Fall without success. We turned to Wyzant and we started with one tutor who was so wonderful but confessed that the AP level was not where he was teaching -- he recommended we look again for an actual AP teacher because he could see that my daughter was a learner but no one was giving her the content. We were so blessed to find Dina (as she is a teacher of AP chem). We set up 2-3 times per week and Dina essentially taught my daughter a year's worth of AP chemistry. She took her grade from a low C the first semester to a 97.3% the second semester. COVID was hard on all teachers and she could have told us she couldn't take the time (considering what she had to do for her classes) but she didn't waver one second and stuck with my daughter. Please know that Dina is the most incredible tutor your child will have and she treats her tutoring students like they are her family. I swear it. Unbelievable!

AP Chemistry Tutor is Excellent
Dina tutors my son in AP Chemisty. She has excellent command of the subject and easily answers all of my son’s many questions. She is prepared, on time, and has a passion for the subject. She makes the learning easy. Highly recommend!

My daughter asked for a tutor after reviewing her summer packet for AP chemistry left her apprehensive since she did not feel that her general chemistry experience in school was very good. After two sessions my daughter reports that Dina was great and she is feeling much better about the material. Dina broke down the information into understandable pieces and presented it in a very clear manner and my daughter is feeling confident. She really gave Dina an A++ review and is looking forward to the school year and working with Dina.

Dina taught my son AP Chemistry, and his understanding of the material is truly, truly thanks to her. She was patient and flexible and he really learned so, so much. This was an extra challenging year, too, as his school was online and he didn’t get to do any labs, so the burden of teaching all of the material really did fall to Dina. He looked forward to their sessions and she inspired so much confidence in him. He took the test last week and said it went very well. We will absolutely be back when his siblings take Chemistry!
