Michael, Dallas TX. Upon graduation of December 2018 I took the NCLEX in February 2019 telling myself it’s now or never the earlier you take the better. I did practice questions, 75 questions a day for 5 days a week focusing on reading the questions and taking care of my test taking anxiety. When it was time to test and I received a failure on my first attempt I felt sick. I took a week off studying and told myself you can’t give up and be depressed, there has to be another route to this thing. Logged on to Wyzant and found Suzanne, told her my problem and she said she could help me. I met with her once a week for 2 hrs going over test taking strategies and gaining more confidence for my second attempt of NCLEX passed in April with 75 questions. The lessons Suzanne taught me help take a very difficult exam to the mindset of I got this no worries no anxiety. I recommend Suzanne for any testers of the NCLEX who are struggling, looking for strategies, or just need a boost in preparation for the NCLEX. Thank you SuzanneMichael, 6 lessons with SuzanneTutor responded:

Who really enjoys interpreting ECG strips?
If you’re in nursing school, you know that it is hectic, busy and chaotic in every way. I had issues understanding and interpreting ECG strips. Suzanne was able to explain it to me in a way that made sense. I love how she explains things without all of the extra FLUFF. Simple and to the point. That’s what you’ll get when you have a tutoring session with Suzanne. Our two hour session was worth every second! I have realized that I am retaining so much more by going through my weaknesses with Suzanne. She is seriously the best!!Tianna, 2 lessons with SuzanneTutor responded:

Suzanne's positive reinforcement kept me going!
I have so much gratitude for Suzanne. I first came to her when I didn't pass my HESI exam which was the test standing in the way of me and graduation from Nursing School. She first helped me pass that with very little time to prepare. She gave me the confidence, taught me many tools to help me learn how to take the test, and provided the utmost knowledge of subject matter. She broke down difficult concepts and showed me how to apply what I already knew. Once I passed that final exam, I knew that I still had to take the NCLEX which frightened me. I reached out to Suzanne again and we came up with a plan to ensure I passed the test the first time I took it. The schedule allowed me to stay on track with my own studying and when we would have our weekly hour sessions I always felt like I got so much out of them. My confidence continued to grow and Suzanne's positive reinforcement kept me going. I ended up passing the NCLEX the first time and I owe it all to Suzanne. I couldn't recommend her more!Mackenzie, 6 lessons with SuzanneTutor responded:

Knowledgeable and understanding
I liked the beginning where she set goals for our lessons and got a baseline of where I am at in my knowledge and how we reviewed questions based on my weaknesses.Jenna, 5 lessons with Suzanne
Suzanne did a wonderful job of helping me understand things like critical thinking, delegation, and prioritization. She was polite, informative, and phrased things in a way that was easy to grasp. I look forward to our next session!Robert, 7 lessons with SuzanneTutor responded:

Very Helpful NCLEX Tutor--I finally passed NCLEX
I am a repeat test taker. Thanks to Suzanne, I now have a better understanding of how to prioritize patient outcomes, conditions, and certain situations that require delegation or priority. The bulk of my NCLEX Exam was priority so I was very thankful that I had a couple sessions with her. She truly helped me understand the difference between what is a true priority in the healthcare setting versus something that has lower acuity needs. She explains things in a manner that no other profession of mine throughout undergrad has done! I passed my NCLEX second try, on November 5th, 2018! I am stoked! Thank you, Suzanne.Taylor, 2 lessons with Suzanne
Very helpful and knowledgeable!
Suzanne helped me so much! I had lost some confidence after not passing the NCLEX the first time around and Suzanne helped me change my mindset and really focus on how to answer the questions and critically think. She is very knowledgeable and explains each and every detail about each part of a question, and was sure to always clarify topics I may not have known much about or remembered well from nursing school. She made me really think about what I was reading and discuss the situation vs. just looking right away for the correct answer. Suzanne helped me approach questions differently and thoughtfully, and helped me realize that I did not need to be answering question after question for several hours a day. I had sessions with her once a week for about a month leading up to my second test date. I am very happy to say I PASSED the NCLEX! On the other days when I did not have a session, I would do more practice questions, and find the weak areas/topics to cover with Suzanne in my next session. I highly recommend tutoring with Suzanne.Christina, 5 lessons with SuzanneTutor responded:
Christina, My greatest reward is feedback such as you have provided and knowing that tutoring with me helped you pass the NCLEX-RN with confidence. Credit goes to you for learning a new way to critical think and applying it effectively. Best wishes to you for success throughout your nursing career! Thank you. Suzanne
Advocate, encouraging, and patient tutor.
Suzanne was a great tutor--encouraged me to keep going, advocated for what I needed, and was patient when I need more time to process things. She taught me a new way to approach questions seen on HESI and NCLEX. Talking through the question is a way to process all the thoughts that rush to mind when reading a question prior to selecting an answer. She encouraged me and helped keep my confidence high. I was reassured that it was not a knowledge deficit and that it was just a "beaten horse" in regards to my HESI exam requirements. Keep your attitude positive and ask for help from Suzanne! You will feel more confident and look forward to your sessions with her.Michaela, 3 lessons with SuzanneTutor responded:
