Permanently certified to teach secondary math in Pa., for 11 years taught and tutored Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Remedial Algebra and SAT preparation for the Kimberton Waldorf School and for private clients. For the last 4 years taught 7th and 8th grade math for a school in Bryn Mawr. (2022)

My private clients have included more than 100 students. What I do best as a tutor is establish a positive rapport, discover what is easy and difficult for the student, and work with the individual's learning style in order to join him or her in the learning process. Patience and enthusiasm are at the core of my practice.

Marti is extremely capable, patient and encouraging. She was able to determine his area of weakness right away. My son has had a phobia about math for years and subsequently it has affected his self confidence. After his lesson with Marti, he was elated!
