I hike, write, do yoga, read and garden when I'm not engaged helping students. I aim my energy at getting the best thinking and product from those whom I tutor.

I can typically diagnose a student's lexile level within minutes and craft a growth plan based on the starting point. Working through dyslexia and ADHD often require some methodical approaches by the student, and accelerated readers often need to work on nuances and stylistic elements, but in terms of any student's reading goals, the elements of success are known and measurable as we progress and immerse in more challenging texts.
