She has read my work extremely closely and provided feedback that feels personal and beneficial to my stories. If Janet ever had a question or an edit on a passage, she showed other textual examples from within my story to better highlight why she feels things might be not fully working. This is invaluable feedback for students of writing and, since Janet edits this way, I find a lot of value and insight in her critiques.
