Hi, I'm Drake! I am a first-year podiatry resident with an extensive background in biological sciences. Ever since high school I've held an affinity for the sciences. I believe with the right mindset, and positivity towards learning, any subject can be a fun and enjoyable journey. School hardly comes as a breeze for most people, myself included, and helping someone achieve their goals is why I became a tutor.
I obtained my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Denison University. I continued my education at the University of Akron where I received my Master's in biology. During my time at both institutions, I focused my studies on courses in the biological sciences. I recently graduated Podiatry school where I have built on my science education with a more practical approach. I am now transitioning as a first year resident in a large hospital setting. My approach to tutoring is to try and best utilize the strengths of the student and better develop those skills. I strive to always keep my communication lines open and will be happy to answer any questions a student may have. I welcome all outside resources that they may be using to help facilitate learning.
