As an applied anthropologist and now museum director, my 20+ year career in interdisciplinary spaces has taught me a few things about successfully navigating career pathways in education, art, community engagement, history, research and writing, and public speaking! Not all career pathways are linear - mine certainly wasn't! For many of us we graduate with degrees in subjects we are passionate about and discover there is no manual to help us apply our skills and passions into interdisciplinary careers. That's where I come in!

I'm an applied anthropologist who holds a BA and MA degree in Anthropology and Public Archaeology. I hold a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instructional Design. I've worked in some unique spaces including as an archaeologist, a history teacher, a college professor, a non-profit founder, a cemetery researcher, and in museums. As a hiring director for the past 10 years I am uniquely positioned to help recent grads apply their degrees in unique ways to potential career pathways, clearly communicate how their studies and skills translate to job postings and hiring organizations, and prepare young adults for the interview process. As a college professor I oversaw practicums and internships, helping students be career ready.

So, if you're a recent grad or a young adult looking to explore new career pathways and need help crafting a resume, navigating interdisciplinary career pathways, or slaying the interview process for a career in the field of liberal arts, arts, humanities, or non-profits I'd love to help tailor your skills and passions into a career you love!

Interview Prep

As a hiring director in a museum I'm able to walk you through the hiring and interview process for jobs and workplaces which are interdisciplinary, creative, and heavily driven by their mission and vision. I have 10+ years experience with supporting young adults and recent grads craft resumes which showcase the applied nature of their experience and skills, developing cover letters which highlight their unique attributes, and feel comfortable communicating their abilities through virtual and in person interviews.
