In my prior work as a full-time employee for major educational publishers, I edited math textbooks and solutions manuals. Since retiring from full-time work, I have enjoyed face-to-face tutoring for students across all grade levels in Oakwood, Ohio and surrounding communities. A bright first-floor room is set up as a pleasant mini classroom for tutoring.

My students are successful because I coach them with probing questions to help them truly understand the concepts. I remind students of important vocabulary and properties to apply. I also help students learn shortcuts and/or techniques to break down problems into manageable steps.

I'm available most days and evenings. On short notice, I offer brief sessions for homework help starting as late as 11 p.m. Eastern time. The minimum length is 20 minutes. Contact me ASAP to discuss your needs!
