Hi! I’m Kaylee, a licensed teacher with a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and experience teaching both English Language Arts and Math. Throughout my teaching career, I’ve worked with middle school students in grades 7 and 8, helping them build confidence and improve their academic skills.
My teaching experience includes teaching 7th grade ELA for 2 years and 8th grade ELA for 4 years. In addition, I taught 8th-grade Math and Algebra in an online learning environment, giving me valuable experience supporting students virtually and adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs.
I’ve worked with a wide range of learners, including gifted students, English language learners, and students who benefit from additional academic support. As a tutor, I focus on creating a positive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling challenging concepts.
Whether your student needs help with reading comprehension, essay writing, grammar and vocabulary, literature analysis, study and organization skills, middle school math, pre-algebra, or algebra fundamentals, I am confident that I can help!
I create personalized lessons designed to help them make meaningful progress and gain confidence.
My tutoring approach emphasizes patience, clear explanations, and practical strategies students can use independently. My goal is not only to improve grades and test performance but also to help students become confident, capable learners.
I currently offer online tutoring sessions only, allowing students to receive flexible, one-on-one support from the comfort of home.
I look forward to helping your student succeed!
