Andrew is a very good, patient tutor. He really works hard to ensure his student learns the subject and feels confident. He shows genuine interest in his students. He responds to email and is always available. He is flexible in his hours. We are so glad we found Andrew. He has been teaching Chemistry and Algebra to my daughter and is excellent in both subjects. Andrew helped me review some of the units of organic chemistry as well as taught me how to spot things out. His tutoring style was great, if I didn't know something he eother prompted me or he told me to draw it out. I felt more confident with the mechanisms than I did when I took the class!

Andrew taught my daughter a (AP) chemistry concept she didn't understand for her first lesson. He allowed her to work through problems after walking her through them at first. This allowed her to grasp and understand what she was doing better than a simple "give the student the answer and move on" technique would've provided. He is a firm believer in understanding concepts thoroughly, and that is something my daughter and I appreciate greatly, as that is an important teaching quality.

I first started getting tutored by Andrew when I decided I needed to get a leg up on organic chemistry over the summer before I started the class in the fall. I had absolutely no background in organic chemistry aside from what concepts I had learned in college and high school general chemistry, and Andrew was very instrumental in helping me form a comprehensive understanding of the material and tackle any difficult problems I might encounter in my class. He was very patient and accessible when I had any questions or needed help outside of tutoring. All in all a great experience working with Andrew!
