While studying at The Ohio State University, I have been a tutor at our Economics Learning Center, mainly focusing on helping students with Principles and Intermediate Micro- and Macroeconomics courses. I have also helped students with Econometrics, Game Theory, and a variety of economics electives. The ELC is mostly designed to be a one-on-one form of tutoring, although there have also been times where I have taught ELC students in more of a classroom setup.

I am deeply interested in social science and I love having discussions about topics important to people's lives and how these connect with the academic side of things that people learn in the classroom. My teaching style has largely focused on empathizing with students and trying to work towards teaching the knowledge they need to succeed in their class in terms of grades, while also putting the content in proper context so that they can also truly learn from the class. My teaching style is also anchored by my genuine enthusiasm for the topics I am teaching.
I have been tutoring at the Economics Learning Center since February 2024. Since August 2024, I have been serving as the Lead Tutor of the ELC, helping direct and manage our tutoring program. This experience has resulted in me interacting with many other tutors in our program, allowing me to get tacit knowledge of what sort of teaching methods work, which ones don't, and how to properly interact with students.
I am graduating this May with a degree in Economics, with a minor in Public Policy. I have direct experience in policymaking and financial management at multiple levels of government, as well as the nonprofit space. In the Fall I am enrolling at Cleveland State's Master of Public Administration program, and will be serving as a Graduate Assistant.
