I am a Cleveland State University graduate with a degree in mathematics and statistics. I have been a tutor for five years now, and have had experience with all different types of students. Much of my tutoring experience comes from working with students in their home, or online after meeting through online resources. My students in the past have ranged from fourth graders who are just beginning to learn their multiplication facts, all the way through college students who are beginning their pursuit of their mathematics degree. I have vast experience working with students that require unique approaches to learning new material, such as students with dyslexia. My most tutored subjects are Pre-Algebra, Algebra One, Algebra Two, Calculus One, and Calculus Two, even though I can work with many other courses as well. I eventually plan on returning to school to add an educator's license so I can move my love for teaching into the classroom.

My teaching style consists of coming up with individual lesson plans to tailor to each student's needs. I like to talk to either the student or parent at least a day in advanced of the scheduled tutoring session to discuss the topics the student is currently working on in school or would like extra help with at the moment. This allows me to come up with a structured strategy before meeting which allows for more instruction time during the actual tutoring session. I have experience tutoring in the classroom, in person at the students home or at a library. I have also dove into the online platforms, so online tutoring is an option. Which ever you prefer works for me. For in person tutoring, I am willing to travel up to 20 miles.

I have a very large range of availability. I am available seven days a week and can find a time that works for you. If you have any questions feel free to message me at your convenience.
