Hello! I’m Rounak, a graduate student in chemical and biomedical engineering with several years of experience helping students succeed in science and academic skills. I’ve worked as a teaching assistant, a mentor, and a research specialist, and I enjoy breaking down complex ideas in a simple and friendly way.
I completed my bachelor’s degree in biotechnology and went on to earn a master’s degree in biomedical engineering. I’m currently pursuing a PhD in chemical engineering. Throughout these programs, I’ve taught and supported students in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, biomaterials, engineering concepts, scientific writing, and general study skills.
My teaching experience includes:
Teaching assistant roles in biomedical engineering and chemical engineering.
Mentoring high-school, undergraduate, and graduate students in genetics, laboratory science, 3D printing, biomaterials, and research methods.
Helping students with homework, exam prep, lab reports, presentations, and writing assignments.
One-on-one mentoring during my time as a Research Specialist at Sanford Health.
