Experienced English and History Tutor with a JD and English Degree

Hi! My name is Christina! I am a law graduate. Before obtaining my JD, I graduated cum laude from my undergraduate as a double major in English and Political Science with a concentration in law. I have taken and helped other kids regarding the regents and I have received a regents honor diploma for my high marks. I was in AP US History in high school and I received credit for taking this class in college. Aside from already taking these course and passing them with high marks, I currently read, write and analyze every day for a living.

However, aside from my expertise and academic background, what I enjoyed the most in all my years as a student, was helping others understand the materials and subjects that I enjoy and love. I had spent years of my academic careers aiding and tutoring classmates, children and individuals. My goal was never just to achieve a grade, but to witness a true progress in comprehension of the subject amongst those individuals.

My teaching motto has always been, "If you work with me, I work with you." This simply means that I want to give 200% of my effort to help you, but you need to do the work as well. Teaching requires individuals to pivot and be flexible to bring the best out of the individual and I am not opposed to changing approaches to find the best method for you.
