Before starting college, I privately tutored math from k-12, and worked at kumon. Currently, I am studying electrical engineering at Stony Brook University. Recent courses which I have taken include Differential Equations, Multivariable Calculus, Integral Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Survey of Probability and Statistics. I have excelled in all of these courses and have been placed on the dean's list every semester.
My primary goal is to ensure that my students not only understand math but also feel confident to hopefully apply what the learn outside of the classroom. It is very easy for me to identify gaps in a student's knowledge, and present easy to understand methods to help. I always emphasize how important it is for a student to feel comfortable with a tutor so they will not be shy to ask for help or clarifications, as that is the only way a student will learn.
