Tisheda, 9 lessons with JohnJohn is a very passionate and patient teacher; he takes the time to make sure that the student understands the material.I would have never gotten through American History without his assistance. He made the course relatable to today's politics and simplified ( World War I) in a way that I was able to comprehend. His priority is that the the student is successful in the the course. He is also a kind person, I highly recommend him to anyone who requires tutoring.
I had been a Librarian for forty years and have tutored English subjects in various library jobs in my career most notably at the Career Institute of Technology and informally at Briarcliff College as part of my Reference duties.
I am 65 years old, now retired, and would very much like to tutor adult students who have needs in my specialities and subjects. I am particularly interested in teaching English as a second language to new immigrants.

To improve my English I have be taking John’s classes for a couple of month. He is a very friendly and experienced tutor. He could pin-point my issues and provides accurate instructions. The text book he selected is extremely helpful. He is also a very kind person, understanding and easy going, even gave me a fine book to encouraging my reading. His classes were fun and productive. John has a passion and the skills on tutoring, I highly recommend him.
