I’ve spent the past five years teaching Algebra, Geometry, and Biology, working primarily with middle- and high-school students. Alongside my classroom work, I coached successful Mathcounts and Science Bowl teams, experiences that sharpened my ability to turn abstract ideas into concrete problem-solving strategies and to motivate students with clear goals and timely feedback.
Academically, I hold a Master’s degree in Business Analytics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where I graduated with a 4.0 GPA, and I earned a perfect 2400/2400 on the SAT when I was in high school—credentials that reflect both strong quantitative skills and a deep familiarity with competitive testing. I have familiarized myself with all material covered on the new Digital SAT, and with the strategies to maximize success in the shortened format.
My tutoring approach begins with a brief diagnostic to find gaps and strengths, followed by targeted lessons that move from intuition to procedure. I use guided questioning, worked examples, and plenty of deliberate practice, and I adjust pacing for different ages and comfort levels—whether a student is preparing for competitions, building foundational skills, or pushing for top scores on standardized tests. I’ve supported learners in one-on-one settings as well as small groups and classroom environments, and I track progress with measurable goals so students and families can see growth.
