About Diane

Bio

I have 19 years experience in the classroom teaching Spanish and English to grades 4-12. I also have instructed ESL for 12yrs. I have written junior high curriculum for foreign language.
I am willing to tutor more than 1 student at a time in my home, but not more than 3. I minored in English and am very interested in teaching ESL to adults as well as children.
I believe that learning should be an enjoyable experience with student commitment.

I have taught English, grades 7-9 for 10+ years. Not only did I cover literature, but I emphasized good grammar and the recognition of parts of speech. I believe that people will write and speak better with this important knowledge.

I taught English for 6 yrs I consider myself an expert in grammar, believing good usage will help someone succeed. This includes verbal and written use. I can help a student with writing and oral expression.
