I’m a current Integrative Neuroscience major at Binghamton University and a Dean’s List student who thrives on making complex ideas accessible. My love for learning stems from real-life experiences, including volunteering in hospital environments and supporting patients in underserved communities through the Global Smile Foundation. Seeing how education can transform lives—whether it’s a child understanding a new science concept or a patient learning about their treatment—reinforced my belief in the power of clear, empathetic guidance. I’m passionate about building bridges for all learners, ensuring everyone feels supported and empowered to ask questions, make mistakes, and ultimately grow in confidence.
I believe that effective tutoring goes beyond simply covering course material. It also involves fostering critical thinking, helping students draw connections between concepts, and encouraging a sense of curiosity. Whether I’m guiding a peer through a tough chemistry problem or helping someone improve their grammer, I focus on creating an interactive, supportive environment that meets each learner’s unique needs.
In my approach, I emphasize patience, active listening, and positive reinforcement. Overall, I see tutoring as a collaborative journey, where students and I work together to tackle challenges, celebrate progress, and build a lasting foundation of understanding. My hope is that every student not only masters the material but also discovers a deeper passion for learning.
