Since becoming a high school English teacher, I have primarily tutored upper-level ELA and test prep. I take a evidence-based and results-driven approach to test prep tutoring, focusing on identifying specific areas of growth. I believe that test-taking is about understanding the test as well as the subject therein, something that I see as crucial when it comes to the SAT and ACT exams. I love the SAT/ACT exams, and see them as great opportunities for people to display their English-language competencies. While my focus has mainly been in test prep, I also love providing subject tutoring and supplemental reading and writing tutoring.
