Cori is a 23-year-old cellist originally from the state of New York. She has won/been a finalist in multiple local concerto competitions, and has been studying cello since the age of three. Cori is a gem. I was looking for a cello tutor for my 11 years old daughter. I was hoping to find someone knowledgeable, patient, and flexible. Cori has them all. My daughter has been working with Cori since last winter. It’s been going very well. Thanks to Cori’s help, my daughter’s participation in NYSSMA was extremely successful. She has been a proud cello leader for her school orchestra also. Cori is very positive and supportive at every lesson. My daughter loves her and really enjoys her weekly lesson. Over the summer, I had my daughter work with her school orchestra friends to perform duet and quartet for fun. They tried but were struggling on their own. Cori was willing to guide them. I was very much impressed how well she managed to get the group going. Kids thought Cori was very helpful and a lot of fun. Cori is a talented musician and a wonderful teacher for both private and small group settings. She is also very sweet and easy to work with. I don’t think I can find a better tutor elsewhere. I hope she can keep working with my daughter for a very long term. Thank you, Cori, for everything!

During my first lesson with Cori she made adjustments to the position of the cello which immediately improved my sound quality while reducing my effort. She explains concepts in an easy to grasp relatable way and willing to answer all of my questions. I would recommend Cori to anyone looking to learn the cello.
