Patient and easy to speak with

Shinsuke is a lovely tutor! He takes a very practical approach to his teaching that is very easy to work with as a student. He’s very patient and won’t be bothered if you take extra time to answer questions or have trouble remembering the information. His laid back yet still efficient and organized classroom atmosphere makes it easy to speak with him in English or in Japanese. I definitely look forward to continuing my studies with him! Shinsuke’s lessons feel natural, like a conversation you might have with someone you’d meet at a cafe. For my level, this is exactly the type of practice I need, rather than learning from a textbook. He’s patient to explain vocabulary that is new to me and always explains nuance or variations that exist in translation, which I appreciate. I highly recommend!

Amazing teacher!

Shinsuke is a very kind, knowledgeable, and patient individual. This flows into his teaching and makes him good at what he does. He has started me with the basics in learning Japanese, which is hiragana letters, and now I am already able to pick up minor things when I see or hear Japanese. It is early in my journey but he is absolutely amazing and I look forward to all of our future lessons. You’re definitely missing out if he is not your language teacher. 😊
