As background I worked as an actuary in New York City for about seven years. I returned to school to get my Master's in Education. I taught for four years in three different settings and ultimately decided that working on a one-on-one basis was more rewarding for me. I have found that I enjoy my students and (I believe) they enjoy me more working together this way. I have been tutoring math for the past seven years for students in elementary through high school levels.

Anna identified that my daughter has learned procedures from Alg2/Trig correctly but, because of missing some math facts and basic techniques from earlier years, can be slow at solving problem-solving and can make mistakes that appear careless.
