Lara is an Artist, Industrial Designer and Architect who lives and works in New York City. She received a master’s degree in Industrial Design and a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute and believes her work is informed by the interplay of light, space, materials and structure that unite these two disciplines.

Lara’s work is sold in design stores and museum shops around the world, including MoMA and the Cooper Hewitt. Her soft glass series is in the permanent collections...

I am an Architect and received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute in 1999. I have worked for large architectural and interior design firms in New York, Chicago and Miami. The projects include, townhomes, beach houses, penthouses, skyscrapers, commercial interiors, hotels and large urban design projects. I'm a professor of Architecture and Interior Design and teach at New York Tech in New York City where I teach two courses a semester. I would love to teach kids and high school students who are interested in Architecture and Interior Design.

I would love to teach kids and high school students who are interested in Art, Architecture, Interior Design and Industrial Design. I can teach drawing techniques related to fine art, design and architecture, since they are similar, but different.

For students interested in Art, I can show you techniques as well as help you become expressive in your own work and find your voice. For students interested in Design, I can show you how to convey your designs through painting.
