I'm Jordan! I am a recent graduate of Emerson College where I studied Acting and Psychology as well as being a part of their rigorous Honors College. I have always loved learning new things as well as educating others. I am passionate about the arts and love immersing myself in all different mediums of art whether that be painting, writing or, poetry. I also have a deep love of English and History. I am an avid reader and love to encourage others to do the same. I am an enthusiastic teacher and student. My teaching philosophy has always been to lead with empathy and compassion. I hope to bring warmth and understanding to every tutoring session.

I was a tutor my last few years of high school, where I tutored underclassmen. I worked with them on subjects they had trouble with as well as organization and time management. Aside from tutoring, I also have experience teaching dance and theatre. I have worked with students ages 2 to adults in a classroom setting. I have a lot of hands on teaching experience with a wide range of students.

I have a deep love for reading and writing that I would love to share. I have always enjoyed reading a good book or writing a story. English was always my favorite subject in school and is something I continue to be passionate about.

Throughout my schooling, I was able to cultivate a range of study skills that helped me to achieve academic success. I would love to share what I have learned and to help each student figure out what works best for them.

I have also always loved American History. I grew up outside of Boston and was able to visit the Freedom Trail every summer. My interest in American History continued through school. I took AP US History in High School and have done a lot of my own research since to further my understanding.
