Hi, I am a special education teacher who attended the University of Southern California where I graduated summa cum laude, majoring in Sociology with minors in Social Work and Middle East Studies. I have also received a Masters degree in Teaching Students with Disabilities 7-12 as well as a Masters in School Based Leadership.
I have worked with students in general education, students with Autism, students with emotional behavior disorder, intellectual disabilities and multiple disabilities. I have extensive experience not only as a classroom teacher, but also as the lead of our ELA department, the school-based instructional coach who supports all teachers and the College Advisor for all students.
My primary subject has been ELA, where 100% of my students over the past 8 years have passed the Regents Exam, but I also support students taking the Global, US and Algebra exams. I support all students in writing their college essays as well as the general application process. I am versatile, dedicated and connect very well with students, helping them to achieve whatever their goals may be.
