One of my most recent positions involved providing therapy to students in an Elementary/ Middle School. My husband and I decided to homeschool our daughter and we knew we had to find a Math tutor. We are glad we discovered WyzAnt and found Marie. From day one, Marie was professional and punctual. From her first session with our daughter, we knew she was proficient in Math. Marie tutored our daughter for 8th and 9th grade Math and provided her with practice tests to prepare for the Regents. Our daughter not only passed the regents, but has gained confidence in her ability to do Math successfully on her own. She is now in 10th grade and Math is no longer a daunting task. Marie’s tutoring sessions continue to positively impact the kids learning gaps. I am particularly pleased because each kids has their challenges on a similar area yet they each need to be tutored using a different strategy to keep them engaged and Marie found a way to get each of them to focused. The sessions are never dull. I am also very happy with Marie as she looks for ways to have the children focused on the areas they need assistance with by interacting with their teachers to ensure her work complements with the areas they truly need tutoring on. Marie is also reliable and flexible and as a parent of three kids this is key trait in a tutor.
