Hello! I’m a Phi Beta Kappa Honor Member graduate from Stony Brook University, double majoring in Physics and Mathematics. I have a strong foundation in a wide range of topics, including classical physics, modern physics, calculus, linear algebra, statistics, and advanced mathematics.

Although I am just starting as a professional tutor, I have extensive experience helping college peers and classmates understand complex material. I enjoy breaking down difficult concepts into clear, simple steps, and I focus on building both understanding in concepts and confidence in problem-solving.

My approach focuses on building conceptual understanding first, then applying it through practice problems and real-world examples, so students gain confidence and problem-solving skills. I tailor lessons to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals, ensuring lessons are clear, engaging, and productive.

I do have different tutoring methods. For example, a question-driven approach, which focuses on helping students improve their problem-solving and critical thinking skills, cultivating their independent learning abilities, encouraging them to understand concepts deeply rather than rote memorization, and enhancing their self-confidence and motivation to learn. Another is “Teaching from Scratch, Step-by-Step” if the student is quite clueless in the particular topic, which Make Everything Highly Visual and will be tutored in a detailed step by step way.
