My name is Cresta, and I have been tutoring nursing students since 2022 through both group study sessions and personalized one-on-one online tutoring. Over the past several years, I’ve worked with pre-nursing students just beginning their journey, students struggling to stay afloat in nursing school, and graduates preparing for the NCLEX. I bring both real-world nursing experience and strong academic success to my tutoring. I am a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with 5 years of hands-on nursing practice, and I am currently in my 4th semester of an accelerated LPN-to-RN bridge program, holding a 3.8 GPA. In addition to my clinical and classroom experience, I specialize in Pharmacology, Fundamentals, and Medical-Surgical Nursing I & II, and I am proud to share that I successfully passed the NCLEX on my very first attempt. As a practicing nurse and a current RN student myself, I bring both academic strength and real-world nursing perspective to every lesson, helping students bridge the gap between textbook knowledge and practical application.

When it comes to my teaching approach, I firmly believe that no two students learn the same way. In my tutoring sessions, I take time to understand your unique learning style, challenges, and goals so that I can structure a study plan tailored to your needs. For some students, that means using clear visual aids and mnemonics to simplify difficult topics like pharmacology. For others, it may mean practicing NCLEX-style questions together to build confidence in test-taking strategies. I also use case scenarios and real-world nursing examples to strengthen critical thinking and clinical judgment.

My goal is not just to help you pass your exams, but to equip you with the confidence and understanding to succeed as a nurse. With individualized support and proven strategies, I am committed to helping every student I work with find their path to success in nursing school and beyond.
