Hey everyone, my name is Chukwubuikem but people call me Chuck! I graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a bachelors in Police Science. I didn't end up becoming a police officer because the world of Real Estate kept calling me and I finally answered. In November of 2024 I got my New York State Real Estate License and began practicing full time. It was a rough start but I got through it because of the help of great real estate coaches and teachers. Their knowledge and expertise kept me from making mistakes that many realtors make when starting out. There is a lot in real estate that you could never learn by just passing the real estate exam. You have to go out there, meet people, shake hands, read laws and do deals to really get a grasp of Real Estate and how it works and my goal is to impart my experience and wisdom on to all of my students.
I aim to help all types of people in the Real Estate world. People who are preparing to take the real estate exam, people who have passed and are looking for guidance, people who are already practicing but want to learn more and get better in getting deals to close or even people who just want to understand the market and what makes things move.
I use two methods of teaching when explaining concepts and techniques in Real Estate. The first method is what I call textbooking, this is where we will look over the technical details and terms that apply to the topic of interest my student has, in detail, so that they're more knowledgeable. The second method is experiential, this is where we apply the techniques to actually get you closer to getting a deal to close. This will include learning about systems and tools realtors use to get ahead. Some examples of the experiential technique is live cold calling, ad creation for listings, templating tools for repetitive tasks and much more.
I was a high school teacher for 3 years and a college tutor for 2 years, so I'm ready to teach any Real Estate topic a student can have for me. Can't wait to meet you all!
