Her coaching style blends big-picture storytelling guidance with detail-oriented editing, drawing from her background as a Sundance and South by Southwest Filmmaker. Daisy emphasizes idea development, clear structure, and precise grammar and punctuation to help each student find and refine their authentic voice.
A nationally recognized writer, Daisy is the recipient of three National Scholastic Writing Awards and two screenwriting honors from festivals in Nebraska and Washington. Her films have played at Sundance, SXSW, NewFest, Frameline, Outfest, and more. Students she has coached have gone on to earn admission to top programs including Haverford College, Loyola Marymount University, and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
