As a high school student I earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT and a 1560 on the SAT, and I love helping students reach their highest potential on these exams. I believe success on standardized exams requires a holistic approach to preparation, where personalized techniques and consistent practice are essentials.
I specialize in tutoring SAT and ACT math, as well as general math support from elementary through high school levels. My approach is structured but flexible: I begin with an introductory session to grasp each student’s goals and current weaknesses, then design a specialized tutoring plan that targets their specific needs, optimizing their preparation leading up to the student’s scheduled exam date. Sessions include guided problem-solving, review of assigned practice, and strategy coaching, with practice problems assigned as weekly homework. I am especially focused on building strong problem-solving habits, identifying and filling gaps in understanding, and helping students develop a calm, confident mindset for testing day.
