During college, I worked 2 years as a tutor for students aged 6-20 in topics ranging from basic reading comprehension and counting to advanced literature comprehension and calculus. Working with students of various ages and backgrounds helped me develop strategies to effectively teach difficult topics in a way that was conducive to students' learning style. I hope to utilize and further build upon these skills as a tutor here so that I can create individualized strategies to help students convert their weaknesses into strengths!
