Accounting and Finance Graduate for Math/Business Tutoring

Hi! My name is Dean T. and I am a recent graduate of New York University. While there, I graduated with a Master's in Accounting and also received my Bachelor's in Finance from Lehigh University. I have experience in tutoring high school students, as I was a member of First Generation Investment Tutors, where I educated students in Finance basics. In high school, I was a member of National Honor Society. I would stay after school every Thursday and assist any grade level student with anything they needed. I love being able to help others improve with topics they struggle on and increasing their level of confidence when test day comes.

I have a strong background in mathematics, I was a year ahead in my high school mathematics program and always maintained high grades. I took AP Calculus AB in my senior year as well, so I am well rounded. During undergraduate, I took Business Calculus and Statistics, as well as several Finance courses that include high levels of math.

I was a camp counselor at Manalapan Recreation Center for several years, working with children from a range of 1st to 7th grade. I also volunteered with Freehold Challenger Sports for six years so I am able to work extremely well with younger children. I want the students I am working with to grasp as much information as possible all while making the lesson fun! I am open to any suggestions or ideas from parents to make your child's learning experience as best as possible.
