About Brian

I always knew that I loved math and physics, and when I was entering college I asked my father for guidance/assistance as to what direction I should pursue in college and subsequently my career. I remember he asked me "What do you love and what do you do well?". I answered honestly saying I loved math and I was good at solving problems. Well, this was very clear according to my father that I should then be an Electrical Engineer. So, about 20 years ago I completed my BS in Electrical Engineering and began a successful career leading me to my current position as Sr. Director/Division Manager for a Federal Contractor. This still has left me feeling unsatisfied, I really was not happy. During raising my two girls it became clear that I really loved teaching/tutoring them in math and physics. My oldest, currently a high school senior, reached the highest levels in honors and AP classes including AP BC Calculus. I am certified to teach math K-12 in New Jersey in preparation to transition from my current career. I would love to help you, or if you are a parent, your child, excel in the academic areas of math and physics. Approved subjects

If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Patient and Knowledgeable

Brian is working with my daughter to get her caught up in AP Calculus. She was ill during the fall semester and fell way behind. Brian has helped her tremendously in just a few tutoring sessions. His 90 minute tutoring sessions allow for a more complete lesson than the average 60 minute session. Brian also travels to your home or convenient public place. 5 stars!
