I've been tutoring and helping teach students of different ages for many years. For elementary school students, I've helped children strengthen their writing, reading, and arithmetic skills, having worked as a teacher assistant in a preschool for three years. I've also successfully prepared high school students for AP exams in biology, calculus, psychology, and environmental science.
When tutoring, I like to listen to my students to see which plans and methods work best. I care about helping each student realize their potential and build their confidence. I also like to come up with lesson plans tailored to their interests so that the material feels more relevant and engaging.
