He was always patient with me when I had many questions and he had no problem repeating his answers and describing the processes over again to complete the math problems until I understood how to solve the math problems. His high knowledge in math was evident when he showed me several different processes and math formulas to help me achieve the same answer in a much easier way to solve a difficult math problem.
I had a wonderful tutoring experience with Masahiro. He is very dedicated and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who has a hard time with math. He did not judge me for the lack of math experience I had. Instead he was understanding and patient and I felt very comfortable. He is very professional and always on time. He takes his time to explain math problems clearly and I was actually able to understand certain math concepts that I've always had trouble with.
Most "math people" find math so instinctual that they tend to zip through an explanation. Kirk asks me what my goals are for the lesson each time. Then he concentrates on that thing only. If I ask him for broader basic concepts, he does that, too. I had an open-notes math midterm test last night (basic algebra, equation of the line, functions, graphing, etc.). I got an A. I don't think I have ever had an A on a math test in my life, let alone under these circumstances.
