Hello! I am a third year certified Language Atrts teacher with my master's in elementary education with a k-8 specialization in English Language Arts. I have experience teaching students from kindergarten to eighth grade! Although my specialization resides in English, I also have experience teaching elementary grades in all subjects. My passions reside with teaching, reading, and inspiring students to understand and utilize their skills to reach their full potential. I look forward to getting to know you all!

I have experience cumulating and building English curriculum for both elementary and middle grade students. For the past three years, I have been teaching seventh grade language arts. I have also personally worked with both sixth and eighth grade students in Title 1 schools. I have found that the best way to teach and engage students is by incorporating lesson materials that appeal to student interests - Oftentimes, the teacher/tutor can learn just as much from the student as they will from you.

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me! I am willing to provide credentials, transcripts or references that may help encourage you to choose me as your tutor!

Excellent Tutor!

She was very patient with my son who is 9. He has ADHD and is shy but she broke through that and he actually was eager to learn. She focused on his strenghts with helping with his weaknesses. She is an excellent tutor.

Understanding, knowledgeable and prepared

We had not work with Wyzant before so there was a ton of uncertainty. She was great to work with to begin the process. My son thoroughly enjoyed the session. We hope to schedule more sessions with her.
