As a Biomedical Engineering student in the Engineering Honors Academy at Rutgers University, I’ve developed a strong academic foundation in math, science, and engineering principles. I’ve taken advanced coursework in areas like calculus, linear algebra, physiology, and physics, which gives me the content knowledge necessary to support students in STEM subjects. My education emphasizes not just technical skills, but also communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking—skills that I bring into every tutoring session.

My teaching experience includes over two years of helping peers and younger students in both formal and informal settings. I’ve worked one-on-one with high school students preparing for college-level math and science, guiding them through concepts they struggled with and helping them gain confidence. I’ve also served as a leader in group study sessions for university-level courses, often explaining complex concepts in simple, relatable ways. I tailor my approach depending on the student’s learning style—whether that means breaking down a topic step by step, using visual aids, or walking through real-world applications.

I’ve worked with students ranging from middle schoolers to college freshmen, both in-person and remotely. Many of these sessions have been volunteer-based or part of academic clubs, where I learned the value of patience and flexibility. I focus not just on the material, but on building trust and encouraging students to feel comfortable asking questions. I believe the best tutoring happens when students feel supported and heard, and I strive to create that environment every time I teach.
