Amazingly patient diligent tutor

Carolyn has taught our daughter practical tools for deconstructing language that have increased her fluency, speed and accuracy of reading and spelling. From the moment she started working with her we could tell she was an experienced results driven teacher. We are so pleased with all the progress!

First Lesson was Great

Carolyn met with my son for the first time to gauge his reading level and current skill level as well as get to know him. It went very well and my son was happy afterwards. I also spoke to Carolyn when he was done about the plan moving forward. We look forward to his next session with Carolyn. I think she is going to be a great help to my son.

My son has had several sessions with Carolyn, and we are beyond blessed to have found her. Her techniques, encouragement, and the way she personalizes his lessons are just amazing. She is the exact kind of teacher you would want for your child. Very caring and kind, and motivates them to push hard and reach new goals. Thank you, Carolyn!!!

Knowledgeable, adaptive and patient tutor

We have done a few lessons with Ms. Carolyn now for my son. She is very knowledgeable on phonics and adapts her style to the need of the child. She has a firm yet kind style which keeps my son on track and engaged in an online lesson setting. She incorporates games in the lesson to asses the learning and my son looks forward to these classes.

Great

My nine-year-old third grader boy enjoys his tutoring time with Carolyn, and looks forward to it. He misses playtime after school with his friends to go. Two lessons so far and he wants more.

Great Tutor

Carolyn is doing a wonderful job engaging my son in a subject he'd rather avoid. She's very kind and has a calm demeanor. She has a great understanding of visualizing and verbalizing skills. We are very happy!

Perfect fit for my son!

My son REALLY enjoys working with Carolyn B. After the first meeting he said to me, "Isn't it weird how you can just meet someone for the first time and they are already making such a difference in your life?" After the second meeting, he was so excited to get going with his homework that he spent another hour working on it because he was so excited about what he had learned during his time with her. She was quick to figure out his learning style and has motivated him to challenge himself to become a better reader. We feel blessed to have the opportunity to have her work with our son and would highly recommend her to anyone else that is seeking a tutor!
